FM Logistic is a logistics company based in France that is now working internationally. Specialized in warehousing, co-packing, omnichannel and transport it is important for FM Logistic to have strong and cohesive IT teams. I did my apprenticeship while working on my masters as, in charge of the internal communication of the ISD (IT team) there.
Mission
My mission was to communicate internally about all the ongoing IT projects to create cohesiveness within the IT employees worldwide. From newsletters, to prints, and meetings my tasks were very versatile.
My favorite part of this job was working directly with my colleagues on their own IT projects. I had to understand their projects, create a communication strategy based on their goals and then implement it which meant : creating impactful emailing campaigns internally, designing flyers and presentations for their clients and so on.
Challenge
My biggest challenge during this job was to understand and simplify what my colleagues were doing. Once I finally understood what the project was about I had to communicate on it in an even more simplified way to make sure that anyone could understand what it was about.
The other challenge I faced was that the documentation I was creating had to be modified by the employee himself over the years. Therefore some of my creations were actually made using google slides.
