Hello, I am Manon, a French-Dutch graphic designer !
I decided to continue my career as a freelancer and therefore had to create my own personal branding. Hint, I wanted something colorful & joyful.
This brand identity started when I had to do my CV a couple of years back and that I wanted something colorful. With my bright personality I thought it was only right to include some colors, blue being my favorite one. I also wanted to add some shapes to make it more dynamic and that’s why I added those waves.
It’s only a year later, when I started doing freelance, that I used the branding of my CV and turned it into my personal business branding. I wanted to keep what I created back then because I really loved the look of it, it felt like me and I was really attached to it.
So that’s how my branding was created, I designed new waves, kept the colors and designed a simple logo. There’s not much more explanation to give except that it resembles me. Some say it’s too colorful but it’s exactly what I wanted my branding to look like.
I did not want my branding to blend in with others, I wanted mine to be visible, & colorful. As much as I love a simple & elegant branding, it just wouldn’t have felt like me.
